Directions for Use
Wash hands before use. Remove contact lenses before applying — wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch, and instil 1 drop. Close eyes gently for 1–2 minutes and apply light pressure to the inner corner of the eye to prevent drainage. Do not blink or rub the eye. Repeat for additional drops or the other eye as directed.
If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between applications. Use eye drops before eye ointments. Do not rinse the dropper tip. Replace cap tightly after each use.
Do not use if the solution has changed colour or appears cloudy. Follow all directions on the product packaging, or use as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Side Effects
Stinging, redness, widened pupils, or blurred vision may occur. If these persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience: dizziness, nausea, sweating, drowsiness, weakness, nervousness, worsening redness, itching or swelling around the eyes, eye pain, vision changes, headache, decreased body temperature, or irregular heartbeat.
Overuse warning: Overuse of this type of medication may result in increased eye redness (rebound hyperemia). Inform your doctor if this occurs or if symptoms persist or worsen after 48 hours.
