Gaviscon Extra Strength Heartburn Relief Peppermint Chewable Tablets are fast acting, soothing and last up to 4 hours. Suitable for use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, if necessary, to relieve your heartburn symptoms. Effective at treating symptoms associated with more severe and frequent heartburn i.e., a burning pain in the chest and mild acid regurgitation. Contains naturally derived sodium alginate which forms a protective layer over the stomach contents to help prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe). 

 

 

Sodium Alginate 500mg, Calcium Carbonate 160mg and Sodium Bicarbonate 267mg 

 

 

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 tablets as required after meals and before going to bed, up to four times daily or as directed.
