Directions for Use

1. Habitual Constipation:
   • Initial dose: 15–45ml as a single dose.
   • Maintenance dose: up to 45ml in divided doses daily.
2. Portal Systemic Encephalopathy, Hepatic Coma & Pre-Coma (under medical supervision):
   • Initial dose: 30–50ml three times daily.
   • Subsequently adjust dose to produce two or three loose stools per day.
3. May be taken undiluted or mixed with water or juice.
4. Use as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Important Safety Information

• Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not use if you have galactosaemia or intestinal obstruction without medical advice.
• Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
• If symptoms do not improve within 3 days, consult your doctor.
