Active Ingredients
Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg per tablet — an antihistamine belonging to the phenothiazine group with antiemetic and sedative properties.
Also contains: lactose, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 200, blue opaspray.
Directions for Use
- Take as directed by your pharmacist or healthcare professional.
- Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Important Safety Information
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not take with MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) or within 14 days of stopping MAOI therapy — serious interaction risk.
- Do not take with tricyclic antidepressants, sedatives, hypnotics, opioid analgesics, or barbiturates without medical advice.
- Causes significant drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery while taking this medicine.
- Do not use if allergic to promethazine, sulphites, benzoates, or phenothiazines.
- Do not use if you have had jaundice induced by phenothiazine derivatives.
- Contains lactose — not suitable for people with lactose intolerance.
- Common side effects include: dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
