Proctosedyl Ointment (15g) is a fast-acting, triple-action treatment for hemorrhoids and anal fissures (tears), containing hydrocortisone and cinchocaine hydrochloride.
It provides relief by reducing swelling, numbing pain, and easing itching. It is suitable for short-term use, generally no longer than 7 days.
Key Information & Directions
- Usage: Apply to the affected area up to 3 times daily, preferably after a bowel motion, for a maximum of 7 days unless directed by a doctor.
- Application: For external use, apply with a finger. For internal hemorrhoids, use the provided nozzle to insert into the rectum.
- Warnings: Not for children under 12, or if you have tuberculosis, bacterial, fungal, or viral infections (e.g., herpes) in the area.
